The remapping market is full of claims about “custom” tunes. The reality is, for most vehicles, a professionally developed and dynamometer tested file with precise adjustments is the best and safest option. Building a tune completely from scratch is impractical for lightly modified or stock cars — it would take more time with little added benefit, often without head room needed to suit the conditions of daily driving. 

Unless your vehicle has major upgrades like forced induction, larger injectors, uprated engine internals, or performance turbos/ superchargers, a tested file will always deliver the best value, reliability, and results.

Our Story

Our journey began with a career in vehicle mechanics, building a solid foundation in how cars work at their core. But the real drive was always performance — how to make engines smoother, stronger, and more efficient. What really separates how engines behave, (especially for motorsports).

That passion led us to invest in professional training, industry-leading equipment, and ultimately to launch Severed Mapping. We strive to specialise in mobile ECU remapping and tuning services, bringing results directly to your door.
